JEANETTE’S EDELWEISS ANNOUNCES NEW HEAD CHEF

His name is Rocco Suckert. His mission has been to expand German Cuisine outside Germany. Now – He comes to Southern California in time for Oktoberfest at Jeanette’s Edelweiss

GERMAN CHEF ROCCO SUCKERT TAKES THE REINS SEPTEMBER 1ST

Jeanette’s Edelweiss, the only German restaurant and Beer Haus in Ventura County, announces that highly accomplished German Chef Rocco Suckert will be the new Head Chef.

Suckert has been an enormously successful Head Chef in Germany for more than twenty-five years and most recently ran three acclaimed German restaurants in the capital city of Mongolia.

Suckert as the new head chef of Jeanette’s Edelweiss is a perfect pairing of a food wizard and cuisine. “Rocco’s food is doubly amazing,” says Jeanette’s Edelweiss owner Jeanette Buerling, a native of Cologne, Germany. “Visually, everything looks so enticing on the plate, and then the tastes are simply out of this world! I can’t wait until our customers have the pleasure to savor Rocco’s wonderful German Cuisine.”

According to Suckert, “I love putting my own stamp on traditional German dishes, creating unique combinations and experimenting with new flavors while highlighting the freshness and originality of the food I prepare. The opportunity to bring my favorite cuisine to Jeanette’s Edelweiss and Southern California is a dream come true for me!”

Head Chef Rocco Suckert will take the reins at Jeanette’s Edelweiss starting September 1, 2017 to kick off Jeanette’s Edelweiss legendary Oktoberfest season.

ABOUT ROCCO SUCKERT

Rocco Suckert has been a leading chef in Germany for more than 25 years. After completing his culinary training in 1989 at one of Europeans leading culinary institute in Eisenhuettenstadt, Rocco has taken the role of head chef for six major restaurants in Germany, including renowned and award-winning restaurant such as “Filou” in the Mosel river wine area,” Landgasthaus” in Ziltendorf, and “Weindorf” in Koblenz, located along the Rheine river wine areas. Furthermore, Rocco has catered hundreds of events across Germany including for Lufthansa Airlines.
