Join us for our Autumn Lantern Fest on 11/11 – starting at 5 pm:

KIDS & PARENTS – JOIN IS FOR A MAGICAL EVENING WITH SPARKLY LANTERNS.

On 11/11 starting at 5 PM we are celebrating St. Martin’s Day at Jeanette’s Edelweiss. It’s  German Lantern Fest.

We will light up the place with lots of sparkly lanterns, have a live show with sing singalongs for the young and older. Kids – feel free to bring your sparkly lanterns.

Who is St. Martin?

From  Wikipedia: St. Martin was known as friend of the children and patron of the poor. This holiday originated in France, then spread to Germany, Scandinavia, and Eastern Europe. It celebrates the end of the agrarian year and the end of the harvest. Saint Martin’s Day is the 11th of  November.  St. Martin’s Day was an important medieval autumn feast.
